Hi, I’m Emily. I believe that people are the most fascinating—and important—puzzle on earth. I followed my lifelong curiosity about human nature into undergraduate and graduate work in psychology and counseling, where I focused on social cognition–what happens inside when you interact with another person. I later put this into practice leading large-scale, cross-country and global studies to understand how we can make tech products better for the people using them. My work informed changes on multi-billion user tools, and helped shape new tech products–specifically to help people connect with their closest others, and effectively explore the world around them.

The heart behind Love Storie comes from a deep belief that meaningful connection with other people is critical to living life well, that marriage relationships are some of the most important, and that we all could use a little more fun!

I pull from psychology, storytelling, and game design to craft novel experiences you’ll want to talk about long after the date.
